Thane ( Maharashtra) – A teacher of the ‘New Horizon Scholars’, a convent school, asked 7-8 children who had forgotten to bring Rs 300 for their Diary and Identity Card, to write 30 times ‘I will not forget to bring the money’. This has enraged the parents. The Maharashtra Navnirman Vidyarthi Sena has demanded that action be taken against the school administration and the concerned teacher.
1. MNVS’s Thana city President Nilesh Vaiti said, ‘It is extremely wrong to make the students write like this‘, which can affect the children’s delicate minds. And especially when one girl refused to take the punishment. He asked her to stand in the corner and write those sentences. This information was given by the parents.
2. This incident came into the public domain when a parent put it on WhatsApp. Then the parents informed the school administration about this. Some parents contacted and informed the Vice-Principal about the incident.
3. The Vice-Principal assured that action will be taken against the concerned teacher.
The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has become aggressive about this case and is demanding that criminal action be taken against the School Administration and the concerned teacher. This demand has been made through a petition to the Kasarwadi Police Station.
