Announcement by Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Bhopal (MP) – “The Madhya Pradesh Government will not control the activities of any temple. Therefore, the District Collector cannot auction the land which is in the name of the temples. Only temple priests can auction that land. Even where there are private temples and a Board of Trustees, rule will be made and directions given to give honorarium to the priests”, informed Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in an event here.
हमने फैसला किया है कि मंदिरों की गतिविधियों पर सरकार का कोई नियंत्रण नहीं रहेगा। मंदिर की जमीनों को नीलाम कलेक्टर नहीं बल्कि पुजारी कर सकेंगे।

Brahmins protected religion
Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “I am proud to say that Brahmins contributed to protect Dharma, Spirituality, Knowledge, Science, Yoga, Ayurveda, tradition and culture. They worked to keep Yajna, Havan, Shastra, etc. safe. They worked to protect the culture.”

Will setup Brahmin Welfare Board
Sage Vyas wrote Mahabharat, Saint Tulsidas wrote Ramayan. There are such Brahmin scholars in every field. So, the guardians of our Dharma and culture are Brahmins. Shivraj Singh Chauhan also announced on this occasion that ‘Brahman Kalyan Board’ will be established for their welfare.
