Advocates of the Hindu Lawyers Association fought a free legal battle for the Hindu couple

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – A Hindu couple originally from Bengal, Palash Adhikari and Shukla Adhikari with a one-year-old baby had come to Bengaluru in connection to their work.
The family was arrested by Bengaluru Police accusing them as Bangladeshi citizens, 9 months ago. Coming from a very poor family, this couple was helpless as there was no one to help them in Bengaluru. When lawyers came to know about this, Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad advocate Divya Balehittal and advocate Umashankar Megundi fought a legal battle for the couple, in Court. They fought the case honestly and without taking any fees. As a result, the Hindu couple was granted bail by the Magistrate Court on 28th March. Hindu organisations, as well as the victimised couple, have expressed their gratitude to the advocates who fetched justice for the Hindu couple by fighting a free legal battle.
