Hyderabad (Telangana) – After a procession taken out on the occasion of Ramnavami, Hindus were beaten up by Muslims outside a mosque in Charminar area, alleging that they were disturbing the peace. This created tension in the area.

Muslims say that the peace was being disturbed as there was a commotion outside while the namaz was going on in the mosque. An argument ensued and a fight followed.

Case registered against BJP MLA T Raja Singh for alleged offensive statement

A case has been registered against staunch Hindu MLA T Raja Singh from Hyderabad’s Goshamahal constituency for allegedly making objectionable statements at a conference held after the Ramnavami procession. T Raja Singh reportedly said, ‘Only Hum Do and Hamare Do kind of people have the right to vote to establish Hindu Rashtra in India, while Hum Panch and Hamare Pachas kind of people won’t have the right to vote.

Editorial Viewpoint

Hindu religious festival processions in a Hindu-majority country are attacked by fanatic Muslims in many parts of the country and the so-called secularists, progressives, and human rights activists are all silent; however, had there been even a rumour that Hindus have attacked people of other faiths, the same gang would have come forward to call Hindus Talibanis !
