Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu) – An absconding Catholic priest of a church in Thuckalay Fr Benedict Anto (27), booked for sexual harassment of some women in the Kanyakumari District, was arrested from a farmhouse in Nagercoil. The complaints filed against Benedict Anto accused him of sexually harassing the women over video calls on their mobile phones. Based on the complaints, the District Cyber Crime Unit filed cases against him.

Some obscene pictures and messages of the accused, Fr Benedict Anto, had gone viral in Kanyakumari recently after some people snatched his mobile phone and laptop. He is alleged to have been sexually involved with many women. More than 200 objectionable videos of Anto and 80 women between the age group of 16 to 50 have come to light.
