Banda (Uttar Pradesh) – Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal workers stopped the renovation of a mosque in Padmakar Chowk in Banda. They threw out the building material. The situation came under control only when the Police arrived and stopped them. The traffic was affected during this period. The ‘Bundelkhand Insaf Sena’ submitted a petition to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to stop the renovation of the mosque. The Government is now speaking to both sides to find a solution to this issue.

The Bajrang Dal says that the renovation was being illegally done without any permission. We tried to stop this. The Government Administration should stop illegal constructions.

Such incidents are humiliating for Government Administration ! Do Hindu organisations have to take the law into their hands to do the work that should be done by the Administration ? This is not expected in UP which is a BJP-ruled State ! |
