500 kg banned meat seized from Imran Ali’s house in East Simhabhum District in Jharkhand

Ranchi (Jharkhand) – Cow slaughter has been exposed in East Simhabhum District in Jharkhand. Police had received the tip of cow slaughter in Haldipokhar, located 30 km from Jamshedpur. Hence, Imran Ali’s house was raided by the Police. Imran Ali and his accomplice Shamim were arrested for selling beef by slaughtering cows. 3 buyers of this meat also were arrested. Police succeeded in rescuing 17 cattle from the place.

Crime has been registered against the accused under ‘Jharkhand Cattle Prohibition Act, 2005’. When all accused were produced in the Court, they were ordered 14 days judicial custody. The rescued 17 cows were handed over to the in-charge of Goshala.
