Mahant killed by a group of unknown miscreants in Mohali (Punjab) !

Mohali (Punjab) – Mahant Sheetal Das (Age 70 yrs) was killed by a group of unknown miscreants with sharp weapons in Mohali, Punjab. He used stay in a hut and used to ask for alms. The reason behind his murder as well as the murderers are not yet known. According to the locals, the buffalo thieves may have murdered him. Police investigating the matter. Few days, ago few buffalo theives had entered that area. Seeing them stealing the buffalo of a farmer, the locals started shouting and they ran away.

1. Mahant Sheetal Das used to stay in a hut behind a Government school in Budhanpur, Mohali since the last 42 years. He was originally from the Fatehgarh Sahib district. He owned a piece of land too there.

2. After this incident, the Bahujan Samaj Party has criticised the AAP Government. Ever since AAP has come to rule, the law and order are completely disturbed. The BSP secretary has said that people are getting murdered in Punjab and the CM Bhagawant Maan is busy in the election campaign in Gujarat.
