
New Delhi – The Railways has decided to fix baggae rules for Sleeper and others 2 Tier passengers. The weight of the luggage will be according to the ticket of the passenger. If the luggage exceeds the limit then a fine will have to be paid.

Each passenger in the Sleeper coach can carry 40kg, and the passengers in 1st Class can carry 70kg luggage. If the passenger carries extra luggage then he will have to pay fine of more than Rs 600 for the distance of 500 km. This fine will be charged as per the distance.
