In a first for our country, Madhya Pradesh becomes the first state to impart medical education in Hindi

Bhopal  (MP) –  For the first time in the history of the country, MBBS will be taught in Hindi. This initiative was started in the State of Madhya Pradesh. Textbooks in Hindi are already being produced. Home Minister Amit Shah has released 3 books with regard to this context.

If countries like Italy and China can study in their own languages why can’t India ? – Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Addressing the occasion, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that today is a historic day. Usually, children from poor families, study in Hindi medium schools and once they reach medical college; they get stuck due to their lack of knowledge of English. Many drop out of medical education or commit suicide. Hence studying in Hindi will be helpful for such children. This should have been done as soon as we achieved Independence but unfortunately, it has started now. Even though the Britishers have left, we are still acting as their slaves. Many people think that speaking in English gives others a good impression of themselves. If countries like Italy and China can study in their own languages why can’t India ? From this year onwards Hindi will be the mode of communication in 6 engineering and 6 polytechnic colleges. Later it will be implemented in the IITs & IIMs as well.

What should have happened after Independence has started happening now. That too at only some places. This is shameful to all the parties who have been in power so far.
