Three die in the fire during Arati in a Durga puja Pandal in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh

55 individuals burnt in the fire

Bhadohi ( Uttar Pradesh) – 55 individuals were burnt on the night of 2^nd October, here in a fire in a Durga Puja Pandal. Three among them have died. The Bhadohi District Magistrate Gaurang Rathi said that two children and a lady are among those who died.

The Arati was going when the fire started. At that time about 150 individuals were present then. The officers of the fire brigade reached the site in about 20 minutes. The fire did not come under control for quite some time. Prime facie it is said that the fire started due to a short circuit.

Those burnt in the fire were immediately admitted to hospitals with the help of local people.
