The President  of ‘PFI’ Maharashtra arrested from Sambhajinagar

Sambhajinagar  –  The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS)  has launched a crackdown against the ‘Popular Front of India’ (PFI), which was found to be involved in anti-national activities. An ATS team arrested Sheikh Nasir Upakhya Nadvi, Maharashtra president of the PFI organisation. The Court remanded the accused to Police custody till the 2nd of October.

The ATS has already arrested 4 persons namely Sheikh Irfan Sheikh Salim alias Irfan Milli, Syed Faizal Syed Khalil, Parvejan Khan Mujmil Khan and Abdul Hadi Abdul Rauf. All members of the PFI were arrested on suspicion of providing money to terrorists. The investigation of Naseer Sheikh is also currently going on. There is an allegation of ‘Conspiracy against the nation’ against Naseer.
