Central Government to shift 1,100 Rohingya refugees in Delhi to 250 flats

Facilities such as 3 meals, telephone, television will also be provided besides Delhi Police protection round the clock ! Patriots will demand the reason for this !

New Delhi – India has always welcomed people who sought asylum in the country. Along these lines, through a historic decision, 1,100 Rohingya Muslims in Delhi will be shifted from tents to 250 flats for the economically backward in Bakkarwala area of Delhi itself. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri tweeted that Rohingya Muslims will be provided with all basic facilities and 24-hour Police protection. The decision was taken after a meeting between Delhi Chief Secretary, Delhi Government officials, Delhi Police and Union Home Ministry. This meeting was held in July. The Government is spending Rs 7 lakh per month on these Rohingyas living in tents in Madanpura Khadar area of Delhi.

Only those Rohingyas who have the identity card of ‘United Nation High Commissioner Refugees’ will be shifted to these flats. India respects and follows the UN Refugee Convention of 1951 & provides refuge to all, regardless of their race, religion or creed.

Delhi BJP leader Kapil Mishra’s opposition

BJP leader Kapil Mishra tweeted that Rohingya and Bangladeshi Muslims are not refugees, but infiltrators. Drugs, human trafficking and Jihad are being waged from their settlements. The only solution is to take them back to their country. Kashmiri Hindus, Hindus from Afghanistan and Sikhs should be given housing and security instead of Rohingyas. Hindu refugees from Pakistan have been living in huts without electricity for many years. They are still not benefiting from the Government’s scheme on refugees.

Send the Rohingya back to their country : VHP’s opposition

Vishwa Hindu Parishad Central Executive President Alok Kumar said, “We would like to remind Mr Hardeep Puri that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said on 10th December 2020, “India will never accept Rohingyas”. Rohingyas are not refugees, but are infiltrators, the Government of India has also said in the Supreme Court. We urge the Government to reconsider its current decision and demand that the Rohingyas be sent back to their country.

It is the BJP that brings Rohingyas in our country and settles them : AAP

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government in Delhi has opposed this decision of the Central Government. AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj tweeted that it is the BJP that brought Rohingyas to the countraay and settled them. BJP’s conspiracy to play with the country’s security has been exposed. The BJP accepted that it settled the Rohingyas in Delhi.
