Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, the billionaire veteran investor, passed away

Mumbai – Jhunjhunwala known to be the king of the Stock Market died of cardiac arrest at the age of 62 on 14th August. He breathed his last in Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He was admitted to the hospital at 6.45 a.m. on 14th August. Recently he founded Akasa airlines.

In 1985, he had invested just Rs 5,000 in the Indian Stock Market. He showed that a common Indian can become rich by investing in the Indian Stock Market. According to the list made by ‘Forbes’ Company, his wealth amounted to 5.5 billion dollars.
