Yogi Government will impose Gangster Act on rioting Muslims

Lucknow (UP) – After the Friday namaz on 10th June Muslims staged simultaneous protests against Nupur Sharma at more than 90 places in 14 States across India. Violent protests erupted in several places demanding the arrest of Nupur Sharma. Incidents of stone-pelting and arson took place at Prayagraj, Saharanpur, and Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. Strict action will be taken against rioting Muslims for damaging Government property. Action will be taken against all of them under the Gangster Act, said Prashant Kumar, Assistant Director-General of Police, Uttar Pradesh.

A meeting of all senior Police officials was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to take action against the violence on Friday and strict action was ordered

Uttar Pradesh Police will take action in the following manner

Uttar Pradesh Assistant Director General of Police Prashant Kumar said, “More than 109 people were arrested shortly after the riots. Damage costs will be recovered from those who have damaged Government and private property. Their property will be confiscated. Violators will not be tolerated and strong action will be taken against them.
