He said, how can an IAS officer give such an explanation ? How strong winds can cause a collapse of a bridge ? Something must be wrong. It is a matter of inquiry if a bridge costing Rs. 1,710 crore cannot withstand strong winds.
Work on the 3,116-meter-long bridge was started in the year 2014. This work was expected to be completed in 2019. But, this work is still going on. (The Government should punish those who delay the work of public interest in such a manner and recover the additional cost from them – Editor)
It is clear how the country’s administration must be functioning if such irresponsible officials are in the management position. The Government should dismiss such officials.
