#BiharBridgeCollapse | IAS officer says it collapsed due to wind. I can’t understand how can a bridge collapse due to strong winds. There must be some error which led to its collapse: Nitin Gadkari pic.twitter.com/lLiTay8xAV

He said, how can an IAS officer give such an explanation ? How strong winds can cause a collapse of a bridge ? Something must be wrong. It is a matter of inquiry if a bridge costing Rs. 1,710 crore cannot withstand strong winds.
Work on the 3,116-meter-long bridge was started in the year 2014. This work was expected to be completed in 2019. But, this work is still going on. (The Government should punish those who delay the work of public interest in such a manner and recover the additional cost from them – Editor)
Editorial viewpoint
It is clear how the country’s administration must be functioning if such irresponsible officials are in the management position. The Government should dismiss such officials. |
