Hindus attacked by religious fanatics in Bharatpur (Rajasthan)

Bharatpur (Rajasthan) – On the night of the 9th of May in this city’s ‘Budha ki Haat’ area, religious fanatics attacked the Hindus. The Hindus retaliated. Both sides hurled stones and glass bottles, in which one citizen was injured.


In 2013 also, there was a conflict between both communities. The accused who had been arrested for these riots were recently acquitted by the Court. There was jubilation and celebration when they returned home on 9th May. At that time drums and DJ music were played. This caused anger in the other community who then began throwing glass bottles at the celebrants, who retaliated. At that time, a religious place was attacked with stones. Similarly, two-wheelers were also vandalised. In this matter, the Police have arrested 31 individuals. A large Police force is now deployed here to maintain law and order and peace in this area.
