Rs five lakh in bribe – three individuals caught red-handed, including a former District Collector

Alwar (Rajasthan) – The State anti-corruption Department arrested a former District Collector of Alwar District, Nannumal Pahadiya, income tax officer Ashok Sankhla, and a middleman named Nitin while accepting a bribe of Rs 5 lakh. The Government had recently transferred Pahadiya. A total demand of Rs 16 lakh was made for not interfering in the construction work carried out by a company.

The Government should try to stringently punish such corrupt people and confiscate their wealth !
