Volume of the loudspeaker on Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi temple in Mathura reduced

Response to the call by the CM Yogi Adityanath

Shrikrushna temple of Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi

Mathura (UP) – The management of the Shrikrushna temple of Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi has decided to minimise the sound of the loudspeaker mounted on the spire of the Shrikrushna temple. CM of UP had given the directive to keep the volume of loudspeakers in religious places of worship low. Therefore, the temple management has taken this decision. The loudspeaker mounted on the spire of Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi temple used to play Manglacharan Aarti and Vishnusahastranam daily from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. Now in compliance with the State government’s directive that the sound of the loudspeaker should be limited to the premises and that it should not go out to cause inconvenience to others, the temple management reduced the volume of the loudspeaker mounted on the temple.

The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police served notices on around 900 religious places, including temples and mosques over the use of loudspeakers. They have been asked to reduce the volume of loudspeakers. Failing to comply with the order of the Court, action will be taken against them, stated the notice.

Editorial comment

Hindus abide by the law, hence, they took the decision immediately but so far, no action has been taken by the mosques regarding their loudspeakers. From this, it is evident who does not abide by the law and trouble people of other religions. Now the Government should take strict action against them.
