It was his only reference to the guided-missile cruiser Moskva, named after the Russian capital, which became a potential target of Ukrainian defiance in the opening days of the war. It sank while being towed to port after suffering heavy damage. Zelenskyy said that they had shown the world that they were capable to make Russian soldiers retreat. Leaders of many countries had suggested I leave my country but they were not aware of how brave Ukrainians are.
