Audio of remedial chants for spiritual distress released at the hands of famous singer H.H. Kiran Phatak

Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay releases the chants Shunya, Mahashunya and Nirgun

Ramnathi (Goa) – The recording of useful remedial chants Shunya, Mahashunya and Nirgun for spiritual distress were released at the hands of H.H. Kiran Phatak at a function held on 15th April. H.H. Kiran Phatak is a famous singer of Indian classical music from Dombivali (Thane District). Ms Tejal Patrikar of Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay under the guidance of Paratpar Guru (Dr) Aathavle, has recorded these chants and made them available on Sanatan’s website and Sanatan Chaitanyavani App in Marathi, Hindi, Kannada and English languages. Ms Tejal Patrikar is at the spiritual level of 63% and is a music coordinator and music expert at Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay. Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale is the founder of Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay.

At the beginning of the programme, brief information about these chants was given. After that H.H. Phatak released chants Shunya, Mahashunya and Nirgun by playing the recording to the audience. This programme was attended by Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay’s Sadguru (Dr) Mukul Gadgil.

H.H. Kiran Phatak is a singer of Indian classical music from Dombivali (Thane District). His father, Mr Bhaskarrao Phatak used to conduct music tuitions at his house. Therefore, H.H. Kiran Phatak grew up in an environment of music. Next, he went to the late Indirabai Kelkar from Bandra (Mumbai) and later he studied music with Mr Vikas Kashaalkar at Pune.

H.H. Kiran Phatak is a ‘Sangeet Alankar’ and has been teaching Indian classical music to children through Bharatiya Sangeet Vidyalaya at Dombivali (Thane District) for the last 30 years. He is invited as an examiner for Gandharva College examinations, as well as other music programmes. He is an ardent devotee of Shri Swami Samarth. Various poems and devotional verses on Shri Swami Samarth came to his mind. So far, four of his poetry collections have been published. He has also written various books on Music. On 6th January 2020, the founder of Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay, Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale declared H.H. Kiran Phatak to have attained Sainthood, that is, 71% spiritual level.
