Instead of accepting anything dished out to them, people now find only truth worth accepting. Nothing else but the truth !
From the response to ‘The Kashmir Files’, it is obvious that society loves to see the truth ! : Actress Bhasha Sumbli
Mumbai – “The Kashmir Files has created a big revolution in India. The truth which was hidden from the people for the past 32 years has come to light, thus bringing about tremendous awareness. People have turned their backs on many big-budget films released after ‘The Kashmir Files’. This is amply clear from the response received by the film. Instead of accepting just about anything dished out to them, people now find only truth worth accepting. Nothing else but the truth”, said Ms Bhasha Sumbli, a famous actress who played the main role of victimised Sharda Pandit in the film.
She added that the film is also raising awareness on what happened in Kashmir and this should not happen elsewhere in India. People who do not want the truth, people who have perpetrated the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus, people who want to cover up this genocide, are the ones who are opposing this film. This is not the end of the issue since the film has created awareness across the country. The Central Government should play its role in delivering justice to the Kashmiri Hindus.
The film has become a cause of worry to the left-wing, so-called progressives, liberal people !
Actor and writer Mr Yogesh Soman said, “Many films like ‘Haider’, ‘Mission Kashmir’, ‘Roja’ have been made on the subject of Kashmir before; however, instead of showing atrocities that have been perpetrated on Kashmiri Hindus, these films showed one-sided perspectives. From creating sympathy for the terrorists, these films depicted how the Indian Army is committing atrocities in Kashmir. Therefore, such films did not go down well with the people. On the other hand, ‘The Kashmir Files’ has become popular due to its factual and objective information. If it is alleged that films like ‘Uri’ and ‘The Kashmir Files’ were made to spread the Modi Government’s agenda, then were the earlier films made to spread the agenda of the Congress and the rulers at that time ? Under the influence of the film ‘Haider’, one actor later was involved in terrorist activities. If the task of imposing a particular ideology on people has been done before, then the other side must also be presented before the people. The film has become a cause of worry to the left-wing, so-called progressives, so-called liberal people because the false narratives they have fed to the people have been exposed”.
Anupam Kher replies aptly to Kejriwal who rubbed salt on the wounds of Kashmiri Hindus !
Actor Anupam Kher replied aptly to Delhi CM Kejriwal for mocking the film. Kher said, “Now friends, watch ‘The Kashmir Files’ only in theatres. You have become aware of the pain of Kashmiri Hindus after 32 years. You have felt the torture they went through. You have expressed sympathy for them. But those who are making fun of this tragedy, please make them feel your power. #Shame”.
