Why no holiday on the Jayanti of Shriram, Shrikrushna ? : Suresh Chavhanke, Editor, Sudarshan News

Editorial comments

  • In the list of annual holidays of the Central Government, the birthdays of Prophet Muhammad and Jesus Christ are compulsory holidays, but why the birthdays of Hindu Deities are optional ?
  • Hindus think that the BJP Government at the Centre should have made efforts in this regard even before such a question arose ! There should be efforts at least now !

New Delhi – ‘The birth anniversaries of Prophet Muhammad and Jesus Christ are declared as compulsory holidays by the Central Government as Eid-e-Milad and Christmas respectively, but why are occasional holidays given on the Jayanti of Shriram, Shrikrushna and Deity Shiva ?’, Suresh Chavhanke, the Editor of Sudarshan News Channel, asked in a tweet.

He also attached the Central Government’s annual holiday circular in the tweet. This tweet is getting a positive response from Hindus all over India and is going viral.
