Hindus should not eat Halal meat : Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje said that Hindus should not eat Halal meat, it is only for certain community people. She further said, ‘we have no issue with Muslims eating Halal meat, but it is inappropriate to force the Hindus to eat it. There is an increase in demand for the Halal Certification. At present, this matter is sub-judice. In this matter, the opinion of the people should be considered.

Dumping of Halal meat on Hindus is wrong – says KS Eshwarappa, Minister of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj

Karnataka Government’s Minister of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj KS Eshwarappa said that Halal is a notion that has been created by some people. Especially some parties. The people of Karnataka are suffering unnecessarily. If Muslims want to eat Halal meat, then they should eat it. But give freedom to Hindus what they want to eat. No one should impose on others what to eat. It is wrong to impose it on the Hindus.

Other BJP leaders like CT Ravi have made statements about not eating Halal meat.
