Biden also said that Russia could launch cyber-attacks on the United States as the latter is imposing tougher sanctions on Russia.
Russia launches attack on Odessa
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the other hand, has claimed that the actions of Ukrainian troops have affected the pace of Russian military advance. However, the Ukrainian military said that in the last 24 hours, Russia has stepped up its efforts to establish its dominance over Ukraine’s airspace. The Russian navy has launched an attack on the coastal city of Odessa. If Russia takes control of this city, Ukraine’s connection with the Black Sea will be severed.
Zelenskyy has called on Putin to hold talks with him. ‘The war cannot end without discussion’, he said.
President Biden has warned there are ‘clear signs’ Vladimir Putin is preparing to use chemical and biological weapons in Ukraine.
