‘Baloch Liberation Army’ hijacks a train in Pakistan

  • 120 passengers taken hostage

  • 6 Pakistani soldiers killed

  • Hijackers warn that the hostages will be killed if action is taken against the hijackers

Islamabad (Pakistan) –The Baloch Liberation Army which is fighting for the Independence of Baluchistan from Pakistan. There revolution is armed and they have hijacked ‘Jaffar Express’. 120 of the passengers of the Jaffar Express have been taken hostage. It is being said that 6 Pakistani soldiers, who were travelling on the train, have been killed. 470 passengers were travelling on the train. The Jaffar Express connects Quetta to Peshawar.

The statement by the Baloch Liberation Army says, “The Baloch Liberation Army has carried out a meticulously planned operation in Mashkaf, Dhadar, Bolan, where our freedom fighters have blown up the railway track, forcing the Jaffar Express to come to a halt. The fighters swiftly took control of the train, holding all passengers’ hostage”. They warned that if military action is taken against them, they would kill all the hostages. And Pakistani Army will be responsible for their death.
