BJP MLA Haribhushan Thakur

Patliputra (Bihar) – The political atmosphere in Bihar is heating up over the demand to declare India a Hindu Rashtra. BJP MLA Haribhushan Thakur Bachaul recently made a bold statement while speaking to the media. He asserted that Bihar is a Hindu state and that India is fundamentally a Hindu Rashtra. Bachaul pointed out that the partition of the country in 1947 was based on religion—Muslims got Pakistan, and Hindus got Hindustan.MLA Bachaul further stated that if Baba Bageshwar organizes a padyatra in Bihar, the BJP will fully support him. He emphasized that the BJP will stand behind any initiative aimed at strengthening Sanatan Dharma. He also affirmed that a law will be introduced in Parliament to officially declare India a Hindu Rashtra.

The political atmosphere in Bihar has been stirred by statements from Baba Bageshwar and Hindu leaders regarding the declaration of India as a Hindu Rashtra. Recently, RJD leader Rabri Devi challenged the Prime Minister, stating that if he has the courage, he should expel Muslims from Bihar and the entire country.

‘These people want to incite riots’ – Rashtriya Janata Dal

MLA Ranvijay Sahu

Criticizing Haribhushan Thakur’s statement, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) General Secretary and MLA Ranvijay Sahu said that such statements are aimed at inciting riots and dividing Bihar. (It is worth noting that while Sahu accuses Hindus who speak about a Hindu Rashtra of inciting riots, he remains silent on Akbaruddin Owaisi’s provocative remark that ‘if the police are removed for 15 minutes, 75% of Hindus will be killed’ – Editor)
