Anand Subramanian, NSE’s former operating officer, arrested by CBI

Chennai – CBI has arrested National Stock Exchange’s former operating officer. He was taking undue interest in the working of the NSE, hence the action ! Subramanian was NSE’s group operating officer and advisor to the MD Chitra Ramkrishna. Chitra was acting on his advice.

Security and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has fined Chitra Ramkrishna 3 crores rupees for violating the rules while carrying out her duties. Chitra Ramkrishna has claimed that she was getting the instructions from a yogi in the Himalayas. She was acting as per his advice. CBI has a doubt that the yogi in the Himalayas is none but Anand Subramanian. As per this suspicion, the agency is investigating the case.
