
Karnataka: A poster of the Popular Front of India (PFI) pasted on the gate of a school in Karnataka’s Shivamogga once again raised questions about the group’s link to the Hijab stir. The poster said, ‘Save the Republic’ and called for a rally, public meeting and unity march. The poster also had the contact details of the PFI.

Earlier, Karnataka Home Minister and Education Minister had said that protesting students were being used as mere pawns by organisations such as the PFI and the CFI. The Home Minister said the relatives and family members of some students have links with the PFI or the CFI and that the issue will be investigated.
