Memorandum to Home Minister Araga Jnanendra on behalf of various Hindu Organisations in Karnataka
Editorial comment
In fact, why the memorandum needs to be given at all; the Government is expected to act on its own against the activists performing acts of lawlessness. |
Bengaluru (Karnataka) – The Hijab Issue in Karnataka is a part of a global conspiracy. This has created a law and order situation. Despite the interim order of the Karnataka High Court denying wearing any religious clothing in school, Muslim students and teachers are going to classes wearing burqa and hijab.
This is a sheer violation of the High Court’s order. Not only this, deadly attacks are being made on the social media persons publishing information regarding hijab in Chennagiri, Harihar, Kushalnagar, Malebennaru, etc. Death threats are given to Hindu students. It appears that some religious fanatics are behind all these incidents. This has turned out to be a law and order problem.
Even as the majority of Muslim students in #Karnataka attended classes without wearing #hijab as per the High Court’s interim order, 13 students from the Govt High School in Shivamogga district refused to take Class 10 preparatory examination after being asked to remove hijab. pic.twitter.com/NEvcKTBIqk
