The Popular Front of India activists who attacked Hindu fish vendors in Karnataka with swords arrested

Editorial comments

  • Despite the BJP rule in Karnataka, Hindus do not expect this kind of attack by activists of Jihadi organisations.
  • Why PFI has not been banned despite of sufficient evidence of its involvement in anti-nation activities ?

Puttur (Karnataka) – Police arrested 2 Popular Front of India (PFI) activists, a jihadi organisation for attacking Hindu fish vendors with swords in Puttur town of Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka. Sarfuddin, 31 and Muhammad Irfan, 24 were the goons involved in the attack and they have been arrested on murder charges, said the Police. On 6th December 2021, PFI activists Sarfuddin and Muhammad Irfan attacked Hindu fish vendors Ashok alias Anil Kumar and his elder brother Mohandas and one of their customers, Mahesh, with swords.

This locality is communally sensitive and PFI is involved in carrying out many such attacks. A few days back the PFI activists of Dakshina Kannada District attacked the Police in Uppinangady. So, Vishva Hindu Parishad demanded the Karnataka Government to ban PFI in the State. (Realise that the secularists, communists and intellectuals who by making baseless allegations against Sanatan Sanstha demand to ban it remain silent over the terrorist activities of PFI – Editor)
