Congress Government in Chhattisgarh cancels its decision to allot 25 acres of land to Muslim organisation Dawat-e-Islami

Consequences of the opposition by pro-Hindu organisations

Allegations of involvement in religious conversion and terrorist activities

Editorial comments

  • Does Congress Government ever allot Government land to Hindu organisations free of cost ? Considering that the Congress Government works only for the Muslims, the country needs to be liberated from the Congress.
  • If the allegation of involvement in terrorist activities against the organisation is proved, then Congress should be charged with treason, as it is encouraging terrorism.

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) – The Government was to provide 25 acres of land free of cost to the Muslim organisation Dawat-e-Islami in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. After opposition by BJP, the State Government cancelled allotting the land.

BJP leader and former Minister Brijmohan Agarwal alleged that the group was based in Karachi, Pakistan. The organisation had applied to the Government for land to construct a community building in the Boriya Khurd area of the city. It was handed over to the organisation on 21st January 2021.

Agarwal alleged that Dawat-e-Islami has foreign funding and is involved in terrorist activities and religious conversion. How was the process of allotment of land to this organisation completed within a year, when many applications for land were pending with the Government ? Muslim organisations in several Districts of the State have been allotted land.
