Patriotic citizens feel that the Centre should ban the jihadi organisation, Popular Front of India (PFI) also.
New Delhi – Centre has banned for five years the ‘Islamic Research Foundation’ of Dr Zakir Naik who is the ideal of jihadi terrorists. The Government alleged that IRF is instigating terrorism. This happens to be the first organisation to have been banned as per U.A.P.A. Naik also makes radical statements and speeches to millions of people worldwide through international satellite TV networks, Internet, print and social media, it said.

Referring to the ban, the Home Ministry said IRF is engaged in activities that will harm the security of the country. This organisation will disturb the peace and religious harmony in the country; it will disturb the secular fabric of the country. The statements and speeches made by Naik are objectionable and subversive and through them, he has been promoting enmity and hatred or ill-will between different religious communities and groups which are prejudicial to the integrity and security of the country, it said.
The ban imposed on Islamic Research Foundation (IRF), set up by Zakir Naik who was accused of inspiring Muslim youths in India and abroad to commit terror acts, has been extended by the Centre for five years. #ZakirNaik #IRF https://t.co/nKn2xQM63j

He is inspiring youths of a particular religion in India and abroad to commit terrorist acts. The Central Government believes that if the IRF is not banned then it will collect its supporters and start destructive activities which will cause danger to the unity of the country.
