The Jawan who did firing claimed to be psychogenic

Sukma (Chhattisgarh) – Four Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed and three injured after their colleague opened fire at them in a camp of the paramilitary force in Linganpalli village at Maraiguda in Sukma District. The person who did the firing has been identified as Reetesh Ranjan.

It has been reported that he was a psychogenic patient. The Constable was carrying no weapon; however, he took the weapon from one of his colleagues and opened fire. CRPF has yet not informed anything about the incident officially. (If a CRPF personnel was psychogenic, how come he could continue his service in CRPF ?- Editor)
