• Congress is trying to safeguard its votes by passing the Bill when child marriage is banned in the Nation. The public needs to raise its voice against such Bills.

Jaipur (Rajasthan) – The child marriage registration Bill has been passed by Congress in the Rajasthan Assembly. Therefore, the Government should be informed about child marriage in the State within 30 days. BJP walked out of the Assembly while protesting the Bill. According to BJP, legal sanction for child marriage is possible due to this Bill.

Congress Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Shanti Dhariwal said that this Bill permits the registration of child marriage, nowhere it is mentioned that child marriage is legal. (If this is so, then why is registration permissible ? Legal action should be taken against anyone involved in child marriage. – Editor) In case of any child marriage, the District Collector and the respective officer can take the necessary action against the families. (If such an action is going to be taken, then who will approach the Government to register on their own ? –  Editor)
