A total of 8 in the Supreme Court and 454 judges’ posts in the High Courts are vacant

More than 5,000 judges’ posts are vacant in District and Subordinate Courts across the country

  • After 74 Years of Independence, such a situation is highly disgraceful for members of all the Parties
  • On one hand, there are numerous pending cases in the Courts, while on the other there are several judges’ posts vacant in the country. Given such a scenario, it is natural that the cases will be pending and justice delayed. Justice delayed is justice denied; keeping this in mind, people expect that the Government should develop a swift and dynamic legal system.
