1. The exemplary mission of Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ to protect Dharma
1A. Providing straightforward responses to the criticism of Hindu Dharma : ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ is the only Daily though which You (Paratpar Guru [Dr.] Athavale) and Your devoted seekers provide straightforward responses to the unwarranted criticism of Hindus and Hindu Dharma
1B. Point-by-point refutation of seemingly controversial sentences taken out of context from the Vedas : These days, it has become fashionable to create confusion by criticizing some specific sentences taken out of context from the Vedas. The shallowness of such criticism becomes evident when one studies the topic explained by the great Sages in the Vedas. The only objective of such behaviour is to draw attention through some controversy or illogical inferences without considering the overall context. However, against all odds, the fact that ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ provides a comprehensive and point-by-point refutation of such criticism is praiseworthy.Yogatadnya Dadaji Vaishampayan
2. Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale’s perspective of not following customs and traditions blindly, but emphasising on their scientific and social aspects
2A. Since you are proficient in medical science, You understand the psychology of seekers very well. You also help the faithful seekers understand the spiritual significance of various experiences obtained through spiritual practice regularly. This consistency in spiritual practice is often on account of their devotion and faith in God and the corresponding efforts towards celebrating Holy festivals, Vowed religious observances and performing spiritual practice. As seekers realise the true significance of these experiences, they progress faster spiritually. You do not follow the customs and traditions blindly; at the same time, You emphasise on their scientific and social aspect for the welfare of society.
3. Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale not only helps seekers progress spiritually but also brings them closer to Sainthood
3A. Senior seekers in the Ashram take care of junior seekers like their own children : In Sanatan’s Ashrams, senior seekers take care of junior seekers just like their own children. The junior seekers get proper guidance on their spiritual practice and the senior seekers are not touched by their ego. Ego is a seeker’s worst enemy. The system put in place by Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale for seekers to eradicate their ego is unique. Irrespective of seniority, seekers commit mistakes. These mistakes are then candidly written on a board. Such public display helps the seekers eradicate their ego; at the same time, it encourages them to learn from their mistakes and to do better. For an ordinary seeker, it is not unusual to commit mistakes.
To accept mistakes and to make sincere efforts to eradicate them is commendable. Such a remarkable practice is followed only in Sanatan’s Ashrams and is worth emulating.
3B. Impressing upon the minds of seekers to perform seva while chanting : Seekers need to perform various types of sevas to remain in a state of servitude. Accordingly, they make every effort to make chanting a habit while performing any seva. Once the seekers form this habit, they remain in constant communion with Shrikrushna, and subsequently, the goal gets easily achieved.
3C. You have taught seekers to develop bhav (Spiritual emotion) that according to their destiny, whatever activity they perform in worldly life is like serving God’s Holy feet. You have provided such a perspective, which is highly commendable.
3D. It is praiseworthy that many seekers have attained Sainthood under the guidance of Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale : Many seekers have attained higher spiritual levels, while some have attained Sainthood due to Your timely and proper guidance. These seekers have achieved all this despite fulfilling their worldly responsibilities in every manner. Some seekers have progressed quite well spiritually despite their physical distress. I cannot mention the names of all such seekers due to space constraints. This entire episode is praiseworthy.
I pray to Shrikrushna and Shri Gurudev Datta that may the domain of Your activities keep expanding and may the Government officials not pose any obstacles in Your Holy mission.
