Church in Kanyakumari raided for running a brothel

The Bishop, who is also a Founder and President of the Church, has been arrested

Kanyakumari (TN) – The Federal Church of India, affiliated with the Diocese of Christ Anglican Church of India, located at Jyothi Nagar in Kanyakumari District, was raided by Tamil Nadu Police on 14^th July. According to the reports, seven people including four women and a Bishop named Dr. Lal N S Shine Singh have been arrested by the TN Police for running a sex racket under the cover of a Church. This news has been published by the news website ‘Op India’.

The Police had received information that several men and women frequently visited the Church premises in luxury cars. The initial investigation had revealed that the Church authorities had used the premises to run a brothel. Following this, the Police raided the Church premises. Bishop Lal N S Shine Singh is also the Founder and President of this Church.
