New Delhi – The Karnataka High Court had ordered to drop the charges on the accused Mohan Nayak under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crime Act (KCOCA) in the Gauri Lankesh murder case. Gauri Lankesh’s sister Kavita Lankesh had appealed the order and made a plea in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has asked the Karnataka High Court to decide the bail plea of the accused without being influenced by the previous order of HC. The Karnataka High Court had quashed all the charges against the accused Nayak in a hearing on 22nd April. Nayak had submitted a bail petition in the Court in this regard.
