India rebukes China!

New Delhi – “India has always respected China’s sovereignty; however, the same cannot be said about China’s actions along the border. When it comes to the issue of sovereignty, it is India that has consistently upheld these principles in practice. India is not violating China’s sovereignty in any manner. Our position on this issue has always remained consistent. China has illegally occupied certain parts of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh since 1963. China itself officially acknowledges India’s right over these areas. China is also carrying out projects in parts of Jammu & Kashmir that belong to India, and we oppose this,” the Ministry of External Affairs stated, rebuking China.
China had accused India of occupying Chinese territory and violating its sovereignty. India gave the above response to these allegations.
The statement came after China released the official details of the meeting between External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. In the details, China claimed that Jaishankar had said that India’s position on Taiwan and Tibet remained unchanged and that India respects China’s sovereignty.
