New Delhi – Four crimes have been registered against Twitter across the country. FIR in Utter Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh for displaying distorted map of India, one FIR for disturbing social cordiality in Uttar Pradesh and one for circulating child pornographic content in Delhi have been filed against Twitter. The complaint was made by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights. It is mentioned in the complaint that child pornographic content had been frequently posted on Twitter. A committee under Union Ministry of Information and Technology of India has summoned Twitter to provide explanation in the case in 2 days.
