Police Inspector shot dead by terrorists in Srinagar

The Resistance Front (TRF), a jihadi terrorist outfit, claimed responsibility for the killing

Instead of eradication of jihadi terrorism, new jihadi terrorist organisations are cropping up in Kashmir. This situation is shameful for the security forces. The Government must take steps to knock down Pakistan, the exporter of terrorism, to put an end to terrorism in Kashmir valley

Srinagar (J&K) – A Police Officer in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) was shot dead by terrorists in Kanipora area on the outskirts of Srinagar. The deceased cop has been identified as Parvez Ahmad Dar. According to details available, two terrorists fired indiscriminately on the cop outside a local mosque while he was going for the evening prayers. The incident was captured on CCTV and the Police investigation is underway based on the footage obtained. A jihadi terrorist organisation ‘The Resistant Front’, has claimed the responsibility for the killing. Earlier on 17^th June, a Police Constable was killed by militants in Srinagar. The same jihadi group had claimed its responsibility then.
