The same Anti-Conversion law should be legislated for the whole country

Rampur (UP) – The Police have arrested three religious fanatics under Anti-Conversion law for converting a Hindu woman. The woman is originally from Uttarakhand. After the death of her husband, the accused brought her to Shahadabad from UP. The accused is a rickshaw driver and told the woman that he was a friend of her husband. The woman’s son fell ill after the conversion. When the son was hospitalised, the conversion was revealed. The Anti-Conversion Act was passed in the State last year. There is a provision of 1 to 5 years of imprisonment and penalty up to Rs. 15,000 under this Act.
