Israel must be given a strong and deterrent lesson, Turkey tells Russia

Ankara (Turkey) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during a telephonic conversation has told his Russian counterpart President Vladimir Putin that Israel must be taught a strong lesson. He has called for rapid intervention by the UN Security Council to protect Palestinians and to send a strong message to Israel. Erdogan has already rallied Muslim leaders against Israel. He has further suggested that an international protection force should be formed for safeguarding Palestinians.
