Some seekers who are performing spiritual practice under the guidance of Sanatan Sanstha have severe distress due to negative energies. This is an indication of the battle between the good and the evil taking place in the subtle dimension. While narrating the Geeta to Arjun, Bhagawan Shrikrushna had said – ‘I have already killed the Kouravs in the subtle. You are just a medium (in the physical dimension)’.
It is necessary to win the war in the subtle dimension on the strength of spiritual energy; in other words, it is necessary to make the negative energies powerless. This is the mission of Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale. Here are some examples on the extent of efforts Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale is making to eliminate the distresses of seekers who are experiencing it. We express gratitude unto His Holy feet for this.
Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale learning even through the distresses caused by negative energies, with a thought that ‘(I) have to leave the gross body one day anyway’ !
During one guidance session, Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale said to me, “The distress is increasing continuously; however, we can learn something even through these distresses. This would be useful for mankind. It would be good if the humans learn. We have to leave the gross body one day anyway”. Then I replied, “Even I had a similar thought. It is ok even if we die for the seekers. However, for the betterment of the entire mankind, the experiments must not stop”.

Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale giving objects used by Him to seekers so they get Chaitanya (Divine consciousness) !
Based on many experiments it has been established that all objects such as ball-pens, pencils, papers on which He has written, comb, clothes, etc. used by Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale have positive energy. This is confirmed even by seekers, who have had spiritual experiences. When Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale understood this 20 years ago, He started giving objects used by Him to seekers so they could obtain Chaitanya. Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale gives His objects to seekers to keep in a cupboard in their room or below their bed so that seekers obtain positive energy. Other Saints give Vibhuti (Holy ash) to their devotees, whereas Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale used to give His items !

Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale lovingly assisting seekers by observing their conduct in a short time so that they do not decline in their sadhana !
Personality defect and ego removal process as told by Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale is His huge contribution to entire humanity. Today, every individual is deprived of Anand (Bliss) in life due to his own personality defects and ego.
Constantly saying that the source of this Bliss is within and helping seekers get rid of the six foes is the epitome of His spiritual love. He did not stop at just speaking about the reasons of unhappiness, but also explained the efforts required to eliminate personality defects and ego. He started the review process so that seekers persevere with these efforts. ‘Review of individual spiritual practice’ in Sanatan is one of its unique features. The secret of faster spiritual progress of Sanatan’s seekers is this review process, which creates awareness in the seeker. The review is done by telling lovingly, with patience or at times, sounding strict with a genuine intention that the seeker should not decline in his spiritual practice.
Following are some examples of how Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale assists the seekers in their spiritual practice.
1. Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale observing the actions of a seeker and saying that the seeker has more ego
Once, some seekers were unloading items from a truck. At that time, one seeker was just standing there. He was instructing others what to do without doing any satseva himself. Since there were many items to be unloaded from the truck, it was expected that he should also assist in the task. When Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale observed this, he said – “Despite the fact that there are so many items to be unloaded, he is not doing anything. He is just instructing others. He has so much ego !”
Later, when the responsible seeker was asked about this, we learnt that the particular seeker has intense ego manifesting in different aspects, such as feeling that what he is doing is right, inability to accept what is being told to him, doing as per his own wish, not listening to others, etc. Thus, we realised that there is plenty of decline in his spiritual practice due to ego; this made possible for us to assist the seeker in his spiritual practice.
2. Telling seekers in the Spiritual text section to take atonement for their mistake of not categorising papers as per their size and shape despite the instructions
Some years ago, Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale had told the seekers in the Spiritual text section to segregate one-sided blank papers as per their size and shape (small papers useful for writing notes, paper size – small, medium and large, A4 size paper, etc.). This was to be done so that the required papers are available for writing (e.g. if a small size paper is required, it would be readily available). Hence, the seekers would be able to save time finding the right size paper and papers too would not be wasted. When Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale realised that this segregation had not been done by the seekers, He asked the seekers in the section to take atonement for their mistake.
3. Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale strictly making the seekers in the computer repair section aware that the computer cable had been folded untidily
Once Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale realised that that the computer cable had been folded untidily near His desk where He does the satseva of writing Spiritual texts. He immediately made the seekers in the computer repair section aware of this and said, “There should be yearning to perform any satseva perfectly rather than performing it superficially”.
Later, He instructed us to conduct personality defect removal satsang for these seekers so as to make them aware of their mistakes. During this satsang, it was understood that the computer cables at other places in the Ashram were also tied untidily; so a plan was made to neatly tie them. Based on this incident, we could learn that Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale has so much yearning to impart the sanskar (Subconscious impression) on the seekers of performing satseva perfectly.

Seeking happiness is the only goal of western philosophy and their various inventions. The truth is that human greed for happiness can never be fulfilled. Hence, despite numerous inventions, humans are becoming increasingly unhappy. Conversely, Hindu Dharma guides on God-realisation, meaning, obtaining eternal Bliss. Hence, those who abide by Hindu Dharma are never unhappy ! – Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale |
