Mysuru (Karnataka) – Karnataka Police arrested one Girish, a nurse in Mysuru, for allegedly selling fake Remdesivir by refilling empty vials with saline water and antibiotics.
According to the Police, ‘Girish was involved in selling such fake injections and he also masterminded a gang. He used to recycle Remdesivir bottles from different companies, fill them with antibiotics and saline water and sold them. He was doing this since 2020’. Girish revealed that he along with his accomplices have been committing this fraud since last year.
