Woman police constable arrested for attending rave party in Karnataka’s Hassan !

If those entitled to protect the law, are violating it; how will they maintain law and order ? Govt. must immediately expel such officials and take strict action against them !

Mangaluru (Karnataka) – A police head constable has been suspended for attending a rave party in Hassan, Karnataka. The accused cop, Srilatha, is deputed in Narcotics and Economic Offences Wing Police Station in Pandeshwar, Mangaluru. Her son, who accompanied her in the party, is on the run. Srilatha has her origins in Kerala and is associated with the department for 4 years. The police had taken 131 people into their custody.

1. MDMA, LSD, marijuana and other narcotic substances were seized from the party site. The party organisers Soni, Pankaj and Naseer, all from Bengaluru, and estate owner Gagan were arrested. They revealed the names of woman police constable and her son during investigation.
2. Srilatha’s son Atul, who reportedly works in a Bengaluru firm, is allegedly a drug peddler and has close relations with another drug peddler. He had befriended the drug addicts from Bengaluru and Mangaluru. Thus, he had planned to organise a rave party along with Bengaluru friends at a secret location in Sakleshpur. Atul fled from the spot as soon as he learnt about the police raid. Entry fees for the rave party and confirmation of the attendees was done online.
