New Delhi – Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal addressed a press conference and provided some sobering facts about the Covid-19 situation in Delhi. He said ‘more than 24,000 cases have been recorded in last 24 hours in Delhi. This indicates how rapidly the virus is spreading. The positivity rate in Delhi has gone up to 30% in just 24 hours. It was 24% a day before. The beds reserved for Covid-19 patients are being filled up very fast. There is a shortage of beds even in the ICUs. There are less than 100 ICU beds available across Delhi.’ He added, “there is a shortage of oxygen on large scale. We are constantly in touch with the central government to make beds and oxygen available.”
