Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev asserts Coronil’s efficacy against Covid-19 yet again!

Scientific research paper published in presence of Union Health Minister

During the pandemic period, significant number of patients have been cured by Ayurvedic medication. It was expected that the government prioritises Ayurveda and supplies these medications to common people! Nevertheless, the Govt. must study Baba Ramdev’s research paper and convey it to the society if its reasonable!

New Delhi – Baba Ramdev has asserted that Patanjali manufactured Coronil is efficacient against coronavirus, yet again. In an event, he also released a scientific research paper. Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari were also present at the event. Earlier, Ayush Ministry had refused to certify Coronil as a cure for Covid. Following which, the medication was licenced and sold as an ‘immunity booster’.

1. The scientific research paper published by Baba Ramdev refers to Coronil as ‘the first evidence-based medicine for Covid-19 by Patanjali’. A statement released by Patanjali says that ‘Coronil has received the Certificate of Pharmaceutical Product (CoPP) from the Ayush section of Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation as per a WHO certification scheme’.

2. Since no instructions have been issued as of now by either the Central Health Ministry or Indian Council of Medical Research, only the approved vaccines ‘Covishield’ and ‘Covaxin’ can be used as preventative measures for Covid-19.
