Stand-up comic Munawar Faruqui roughed up by Hindu Rakshak Sangathan activists for mocking Hindu Deities

• The Hindus expect the police to act stringently against those who denigrate Hindu Deities, but they dont. And then Hindu organizations are forced to act, which is not expected.
• With the BJP in power in MP,  the religious fanatics shouldn’t dare to mock Hindu Deities. In an Islamic nation like Pakistan does anyone dare to mock Islam?

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) – Munawar Faruqui, a stand-up comedian, is constantly in news for his objectionable remarks on Hindu deities. He has insulted Lord Shri Ram, has ridiculed the murder of karsevaks in Godhra etc. He was roughed up by Hindu Rakshak Sangathan activists for his objectionable remarks on Hindu Deities and Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, at a programme held at ‘Monroe Cafe’ in Indore.  Faruqui and the event organizers  were taken to the police station. Police said that they will investigate the matter and act after viewing the video of the event.
